Name: Tobias Qwist Fenger
Education: MSc in Finance and Strategic Management, CBS
Start in WDH: 2019
My name is Tobias Qwist Fenger and I am a Finance Graduate at Demant. I have a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Finance and Strategic Management both from CBS.
I joined the graduate program at Demant because of my interest in the fastmoving MedTech industry. The program further offers a high level of flexibility and a broad range of international opportunities, which matches my professional ambitions. My first rotation is at our office in Dublin, where I work with financial reporting and budgeting together with the management of the Irish department. This involves a high degree of Excel and financial modeling and gives a great understanding of our business. I have been very fortunate to have both interesting and demanding tasks on my first rotation, but I honestly expect this to continue for the rotations ahead.
Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching sports of all kinds. I have played elite basketball previously, but today it is more about football. I also like cooking and enjoying delicious meals and drinks with friends. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and best of luck in the recruitment process!
Name: Giulia Giorgi
Education: MSc in International Business, CBS
Start in WDH: 2018
My name is Giulia Giorgi, and I am one of the two Global Finance Graduates that started in 2018. I am originally from Milan, where I also took my bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration at Universita’ Cattolica. After completing my bachelor, I took a gap year. I moved initially to London, and then to Brussels, where I worked as Finance Intern at the DOW Chemical Company. In August 2016, I moved to Copenhagen to pursue my master’s in International Business at CBS. Along with my studies, I have worked for Maersk Line and Novo Nordisk, before joining Demant.
My first rotation is in Finance Processes and Compliance, where I assist my team in defining and enforcing compliance processes across our legal entities worldwide. Due to the international scope of my projects, I have already started travelling a lot and I expect to spend my next rotations abroad. I feel very fortunate to be part of this team as I have chance to take on several responsibilities, and I am constantly challenged with new tasks.
As a former athlete, I do love sports. Besides basketball, which is my favorite sport, I also enjoy playing tennis, sailing and kayaking. When the wind is acceptable, and it does not rain, I also enjoy “getting lost” around Copenhagen with my bike. I highly recommend biking up North and visit the Deer Park (Dyrehaven!)
Name: Nicholas Ali
Education: MSocSc in Organizational Innovation and Entrepreneurship, CBS
Start in WDH: 2018
My name is Nicholas Ali and I am one of the two Global Finance Graduates that started in 2018. For my first rotation, I am part of the Business Controlling team. Specifically, I have been assigned to the Retail sector of Business Controlling, with the majority of my tasks involving the extraction of data, organizing it, and creating budget and forecast statements. My work heavily involves Excel data, sourced mainly from Cubes and BPC, primarily focusing on data analysis/structuring, and ensuring the data are presentable for management via PowerPoint.
I graduated with an MBA in Project Management in August 2016 and an Msoc. Sc. in Organizational Innovation and Entrepreneurship from CBS in June 2018. Although my most recent education was taken in Denmark, both my MBA and Bachelor’s were in the US.
In my private life I love sports of every kind, but Volleyball is always my go-to. I am a huge fan of playing both video and board games. On social occasions I always enjoy hanging with friends and having a few drinks. But, if in a more relaxed environment, I am always happy to spend the day fishing. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions regarding our Graduate Programme.
